At this year’s Security Matters Live held at the Coventry Building Society Arena on the 13 June 2024, 3DX-Ray will be there to demonstrate just some of their world-leading security systems.
Demonstrated at the event will be the 3DX-RAY ThreatScan®-AS1(ISC) which is a fully integrated robust, lightweight amorphous silicon portable x-ray inspection system. With a primary 22” touch display, computer communications and power supplies consolidated into a single, rugged waterproof case.
With the addition of a secondary display tablet, ThreatScan®-AS1(ISC) offers high flexibility in deployment to meet the wide variety of user applications and threat scenarios.
The combination of technologies used in ThreatScan®-AS1(ISC) offers exceptional X-ray imaging performance, 3DX-RAYs renowned advanced materials discrimination, and sophisticated image processing software.
The ThreatScan® range is ideal for suspect bag and package inspection in locations such as mass transit rail and bus stations, shopping malls, airports, stadia and sports arenas. The system is also used for general security inspection by first responders such as Police, Military, Government Security agencies and Technical Surveillance Counter Measures.

AXIS™-CXi is a cabinet based x-ray system for screening mail, parcels, bags, or any item up to the size of 580 x 498 x 688mm (HxWxD). It is a mobile unit so can be relocated easily within buildings. AXIS™-CXi is a cabinet based screening system with aviation standard Materials Discrimination capability. The AXIS CXi offers a large inspection chamber and imaging area whilst retaining a small footprint and high-quality images, providing a discreet space-saving solution for security screening.
3DX-Ray also offer a range of metal detectors.
They are the AXISTM-A24 and the AXISTM-A33, these are highly sensitive digital walk-through metal detector with 24 independent detection zones and outstanding electromagnetic and digital processing technology. The coil design and high-brightness LEDs show the horizontal position of metal objects, allowing the operator to analyse quickly and accurately.
3DX-Rays Walkthrough Metal Detectors will detect metallic objects on people passing through the detector, such as knives, weapons, and metallic contraband items.
