They offer a state-of-the-art range of portable, mobile and fixed x-ray systems to meet a wide range of security and industrial x-ray inspection needs.

Mr. Vincent Deery CEO of 3DX-Ray who hosted the visit said “Innovation is at the heart of what we do and who we are as a company. In only the last few months we announced the integration of AI machine learning into our already game-changing cabinet-style mail screening X-ray system, the Axis-CXi, which has revolutionised corporate security. And more recently we launched a new smaller flat panel, the AS2 that incorporates the latest glassless technology as part of our ThreatScan family of portable x-ray systems, already in service with EOD units around the world. We pride ourselves on delivering cutting-edge, world-beating security and industrial x-ray products that are sold around the globe. Bringing important revenue, technological know-how and of course jobs, not just to the local community, but to the country as a whole.”

Member of Parliament Jane Hunt was given a guided tour of the facility and met members of the team. She said: “It was very interesting to see the technology that is being developed here at 3DX-Ray in Barrow Upon Soar. It shows the breadth of talent that we have across the Loughborough constituency. I am looking forward to following the progress of the technology and research being done here and would like to thank the staff at 3DX-Ray for allowing me to see the fantastic work that they are doing.”
